Yankee at 10 weeks

When I first saw this boy, he was promised to someone else, heart-broken, I was willing to wait for the next litter. Then an email comes, asking me, if I would like him? Of Course I would! So a few weeks later, we drive down to VA and pick up a smushy, sweet-faced cuddly baby known as Yankee.

He is a beautiful boy, blending elegance and power wonderfully, even at this young age. 2008 has been an awesome year for Yankee. He started off the year earning his Rally Novice Title in April, followed by his UKC championship in April, not a month later he was certfied as a therapy dog, and earned his Canine Good Citizen. He then finished his AKC Championship in August, then started his quest for Agility titles in November. He finished his Level 1 title in 3 days of trials.

Yankee now has 4 points towads his Championship! He also earned a Puppy Group 2 in very tough competition!

On 12/9 at Eastern Dog Club, Yankee takes a 3 point major!! This brings his point total up to 7pts! Almost half way there!!

Yankee takes 2nd place at American Spaniel Club in the 12-18 month Dog Class!

4/12-4/13 Yankee has been focusing on Performance Events lately. In his first two Rally shows, he qualified including a 2nd place with a score of 96!

4/14- Yankee finishes his RN title at the English Cocker Spaniel Club of America! With a score of 96 and a First Place in his class!

4/15- Yankee takes a 3rd place in a competitive Open Parti Dog at English Cocker Spaniel Club of America.

4/26- Yankee takes a Group 3 and a Group 4 at Apple Valley Rat Terrier Club (UKC Multi breed)

4/27- Yankee takes a Group 4 and finishes his UKC Championship!

7/4- Yankee takes Winners Dog for 1 pt!

7/6- Yankee takes Winners Dog and Best Of Winners for a 4 POINT MAJOR! just 3 singles to go!

8/2- Yankee takes Winners Dog/Best Of Winners/Best Of Breed for 1 point.

8/9- Yankee takes Winners Dog/Best of Opposite Sex for 1 point

8/10- Yankee takes Winners Dog/Best of Winners/Best Of Breed for 1 point and finishes his Championship!!!

12/28/08- Yankee finishes his CL1 Title! He did this with 8 1st places and clean runs. I couldnt be prouder of this boy in agility!
